The Fall semester is currently in progress & sold out - the Winter semester is now open for registration.

We apologize that availability is limited - we are working as fast as possible to open our new studio at 288 West St in Tribeca this winter and will update everyone via email, Instagram, and here on the website as soon as we have more info. BKLYN CLAY West will offer classes for adults and children, one-time classes, and private events, but will not offer memberships.

The Winter semester is 12 weeks long (you come to the same class each week) and costs $675 for the entire semester. Please read the rest of this page for additional info.

Vaccination & Mask Requirements

We are no longer checking for proof of vaccination at the door. Masks are now optional, not required.

Open Studio Hours

Open studio is available to students daily 9:30am-8:30pm.

Students MUST sign in and out when using open studio hours, and when signing out must confirm that they have fully cleaned their workspace.

Students may utilize the common areas and classrooms, students may NOT use the members space.

Make-up Classes

If you miss a class, you may make up the missed session by attending a comparable class within the same semester. Each student may make up no more than three classes per semester. Make-ups are available subject to the space in the class you wish to attend. If the class is fully attended, you may not make up the class at that time. To make up a class, you must arrive on time and ask the teacher for permission to join. Make-ups are not guaranteed, but are offered according to availability as a courtesy to our students.

Additional Fees

Additional fees include the basic tool kit ($15) and firing fees of 3 cents per cubic inch per firing, plus tax.

Note: We are not offering kids classes at this time, all students must be 18+ to register for adult classes and 13-17 to register for the teen class.

Cancellation Policy

To request a cancellation and refund, you must email info@bklynclay.com  Refunds requested more than one week prior to the first class are fully refundable. Refunds requested within one week of the first class are 50% refundable. There will be no refunds once the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to a later semester. We cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session.
